The Petite Yellow Thistle Feeder is ready to hang and extremely easy to use, fill and clean. The bright yellow and black color scheme matches some favorite backyard birds. Drainage holes in the seed tray help keep seed dry. Weather durable powder coated finish mesh with metal top and bottom and metal wire hanging loop. Holds approximately 1/2 pound of thistle seed.
Thistle seed, also called Nyjer, is a popular seed with many finches, sparrows, doves, towhees, quail, and buntings. Even unexpected birds may try a bite of Nyjer when it is offered, and woodpeckers, thrushes, chickadees, and other birds have been spotted snacking at thistle seed feeders.
